Spring - Just the Beginning!
Today I ran another short distance. 2+ Miles. Following the run I took these pictures of things I had seen. Some are quite nice.
From Top to bottom, we have:
1. Maple tree flowers at Zodiac Village
2. The venter of a Daffodil (high zoom)
3. A full set of daffodils
4. Sedum or Ice Plant (a rock garden succulent)
5. Grass
6. A Tulip Tree flower
7. A Star Magnolia flower (fully bloomed)
8. Another star magnolia flower (also fully bloomed) on a lower branch
9. A view toward Ayer Center (where these pictures wer taken)
10. Ivy leaves on rock wall (and some blue colored berries)
11. More Vine Ivy leaves
12. Phlox decussata (or ground phlox) on a rock wall
13. A fast growing plant which I think is called Polygonum (only the top of it)

Mount Wachusett
This image was taken after a 2 mile run out on Route 111 again toward Groton Center. This is Mount Wachusett which is exactly 18 miles from where I took this picture. I am completely amazed by the detail in this image since it was taken FROM another original shot and zoomed-in-on to get this image. The original pixils WERE captured and are found in this new image. Here is the zoomed portion of the image. The area of the zoom covers the area of the red box shown in the images below it.
So, as you can see, there is a huge definition in the upper photograph. The original photo below was captured on a 1 inch sensor (which is a 20 mega-pixil plate!) This equates to a 5,472 pixil wide by 3,648 pixil high image (below). The zoom box detail (shown above) represents only 12.5% of the size of the image below. BUT THE PIXILS ARE THERE in the image above! The even more incredable thing is that I could have zoomed much further IN on the box shown below in order to reach the 100% actual detail of the 12.5% image.
Both images (upper and lower) have been resized to show a 684 pixil width.

Spirit Revival
The run was good. 2.0 miles. No issues, just winded on the top of the hill leading out toward Groton. Boston is in a year! It was inspiring to watch it on the computer the day before yesterday. I took the following pictures after the run.
Below is the entrance to the left hand 1-mile mark turn to the "General Field"
